Integrations
AI search data sources
Use site-managed DataForSEO plus optional Cloudflare and GA4 data to understand AI visibility.
The AI Search integrations show how AI assistants and answer engines see your site: which questions they answer with your pages, which AI crawlers actually fetch them, and what that traffic does. All three are read-only data sources — none of them can change anything on your site.
DataForSEO
DataForSEO powers the AI Visibility question universe: the real questions where AI answers cite (or should cite) your site, mention metrics, and AI Overview presence checks for the queries you already rank for.
- SERPclimber manages the DataForSEO connection; there are no credentials or spending settings to add.
- Each active project receives a monthly refresh allowance. When it is reached, saved results remain available and refreshes resume the next month.
- DataForSEO remains visible as source attribution for the measurements it supplies.
Cloudflare
If your domain is on Cloudflare, connecting it reveals which AI crawlers and assistants fetch your pages — data your server logs would show, if you had them. SERPclimber groups traffic into training crawlers, AI search indexers, and live assistant fetches (an assistant reading a page to answer someone right now).
- Connect with one click via Cloudflare's consent screen, or paste a scoped API token instead (create one under My Profile → API Tokens with Zone:Read and Analytics:Read).
- Access is read-only: SERPclimber can list your zones and read analytics, nothing else.
- Works on every Cloudflare plan, including Free.
- When a zone name matches the project domain, SERPclimber selects it automatically. If no zone matches, pick one in Project Settings → Integrations.
Google Analytics (GA4)
GA4 access rides your existing Google connection — it's one extra permission, not a separate account. It adds traffic evidence to experiments (sessions, engagement, conversions for measured pages) and tracks visits arriving from AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity.
- If you connected Google before this permission existed, the connection row in Integrations shows Grant Analytics access — one click re-runs the Google consent screen and upgrades the existing connection in place. Nothing else changes.
- Then pick the GA4 property for each project in Project Settings → Integrations.
- Search results remain the verdict metric for experiments; GA4 is supporting evidence.
