Evertune alternative: measuring the model vs fixing the page

Evertune measures how AI models describe your brand when nobody prompts them with your name — an unaided AI Brand Index built by sampling each model 100 times, across 11 models, at $800/month with a demo required. That is brand measurement, closer to a tracking study than to SEO. SERPclimber costs $149/month per site and works on the pages you own. Here is the honest comparison.

The short verdict

Evertune is not really a competitor to a per-site SEO product, and the most useful thing this page can do is explain why — because "AI visibility" is being used to describe two genuinely different jobs.

Evertune's core asset is the AI Brand Index: a 0-100 score for how likely models are to include and recommend your brand when your brand is not mentioned in the prompt. They build it statistically, prompting each platform around 100 times per model across 11 models including ChatGPT, ChatGPT Search, Gemini, Gemini Search, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Meta AI, Claude, Perplexity and DeepSeek. Around that sit Word Association analysis, Shopping Intelligence, a Content Studio producing 25 AI-optimised articles a month on Pro, and an Advertise module with affiliate partnerships and AI retargeting. Their own FAQ draws the line explicitly: GEO optimises for being mentioned and recommended inside AI answers, while SEO optimises for ranking links on a results page.

That is a brand measurement product for advertisers, priced accordingly at $800/month for Pro with Enterprise custom, and sold through a demo — there is no self-serve signup and no free tier.

SERPclimber is the other job. We work on pages you own: Search Console shows which are losing clicks, we draft a variant from that page's own query data, publish it to your CMS on your approval, and run it as a live experiment against its baseline with automatic rollback. Five engines, $149/month per site, no demo.

If the question keeping you up is "what do models say about our brand category-wide, and can we advertise against it" — Evertune, and we are not a substitute. If it is "which of my pages is slipping and did my fix work" — that is us, at roughly a fifth of the price.

Which fits your team?

~/serpclimberbest for

Choose SERPclimber if…

You own a website and your problem is page-level. Which of my pages is losing clicks, what should I change, and did the change work. You want to buy it today without a sales call, run it on one site, and spend $149 rather than $800. You are not trying to move a category-wide brand score; you are trying to stop a specific page from sliding.

~/evertune.aibest for

Choose Evertune if…

Your question is a brand question, not a page question. You want to know how models describe your brand unprompted, how that compares to competitors, what words attach to you, and whether your products surface in AI shopping answers — measured properly, with statistical sampling rather than spot checks. You have a budget for advertising against those findings. That is a real and well-built product, and nothing we do replaces it.

~/serpclimber/compare/evertune-alternative/two-different-jobs

Unaided brand measurement is not SEO, and Evertune agrees

The most valuable thing Evertune publishes is a distinction most of this market blurs. Their FAQ states that GEO optimises for being mentioned and recommended inside AI answers, while SEO optimises for ranking links on a search results page.

Their AI Brand Index measures the first thing, deliberately, by asking models about your category without naming you and counting how often you come up and in what position. That is an unaided awareness study, run against language models instead of survey panels. Sampling each platform around 100 times per model is what makes the number stable enough to trust.

We measure something narrower and more actionable: whether the specific pages you own get cited, and whether a change you shipped moved that. Twenty-five live asks a month is nowhere near a brand index and is not trying to be.

Read that as a scoping decision rather than a scoreboard. If you need to report an AI brand score to a CMO, we do not produce one.

  • Evertune: unaided category prompts, brand not named, 0-100 index
  • SERPclimber: named checks against pages you own, tied to a change you made
  • Evertune samples ~100 times per model across 11 models
  • Their own FAQ separates GEO from SEO explicitly

$800 a month and a demo, or $149 and a signup

Evertune publishes its Pro price, which is more honest than most enterprise vendors in this category, and $800/month buys a lot: 100,000 tracked prompts, 11 models, daily frequency, global language and country coverage, 25 generated articles and three onboarding sessions.

It is also gated. There is no free tier and no self-serve trial — a demo request is the only way in, and Enterprise pricing is custom.

We are $149/month per site, $119 billed annually, with extra sites at $69. You sign up and start. There is no free plan here either, and we would not pretend otherwise, but there is no sales call between you and the product.

The five-fold price gap mostly reflects who each product is for. Evertune is priced for a brand team with an advertising budget. If that is not your situation, the comparison resolves quickly.

  • Evertune Pro: $800/mo, demo required, no free tier
  • SERPclimber: $149/mo per site, self-serve, extra sites $69/mo
  • Evertune Enterprise adds bot analytics, site optimisation and SSO
  • Neither product offers a permanent free plan

Where Evertune is simply the better buy

You need a defensible brand number. Statistical sampling at ~100 prompts per model is a methodology you can put in front of a board. Spot checks are not, and ours are spot checks by design.

You want to advertise against the findings. Affiliate partnerships, AI retargeting and an Ads Agent — built by a team out of The Trade Desk and AdBrain. There is no equivalent here and there will not be.

You sell products and care about AI shopping answers. Their Shopping Intelligence checks whether your products appear with prices, reviews and purchase links. We do not look at that.

You need word association and sentiment at brand level. Which terms models attach to you, tracked over time.

  • Statistically sampled AI Brand Index — not available here
  • Advertising, affiliate partnerships and AI retargeting — not available here
  • Shopping Intelligence for product answers — not available here
  • Brand-level word association and sentiment — not available here

These two products barely overlap. Evertune answers a brand question with statistics; SERPclimber answers a page question with experiments.

If it is the page question you have, SEO Experiments and AI Visibility are the right places to start.
