# Connect your data

A project combines a domain with secure provider connections and exact resource bindings.

## 1. Create the project

Open **New Project** and enter the bare domain plus an optional project name. Integrations and page scope are configured after creation in Project Settings.

If your subscription has no unused site position, SERPclimber shows Stripe's exact prorated charge and new recurring total before creating the project. The project is created only after payment is confirmed.

## 2. Create secure connections

Open **Integrations** and connect the services you use:

- Google Search Console for first-party page, query, and experiment evidence.
- Wix for synchronized content and automatic experiment publishing. Without Wix, Experiments provide a guided change checklist instead.
- Cloudflare for AI crawler-access evidence.

SERPclimber manages OpenAI, Anthropic, Ahrefs, and DataForSEO. They require no user credentials or project setup. Provider names may still appear as attribution for generated or sourced results.

OAuth and API-key credentials stay in the secure integration flow. They are never copied into a project or Chat message.

## 3. Bind exact resources

In **Project Settings**, verify the Google Search Console property, Wix site/resource, and optional Cloudflare zone selected for this domain. Set the Page scope there when only part of the site, such as `/post/`, should enter discovery. A connected account alone is not enough when the project has no resource binding.

SERPclimber can infer safe bindings when a connected resource clearly matches the domain, but review the result before running a workflow.

## 4. Discover and review pages

When a new project has a usable Google Search Console property or matching site-managed project history, SERPclimber queues its first discovery automatically. Otherwise, finish the Search Console binding and use **Run discovery** on Pages. Pages will show discovered Pages and whether each is an Opportunity, excluded, or currently ineligible, along with any Drafting or active Experiment state.

If setup is incomplete, Chat can diagnose the missing connection or binding and open the secure screen. It does not request credentials in the conversation.
